Committed to sustainability

Our approach embodies the values that define us as both a restaurant and a family. We firmly believe in the importance of natural and locally sourced produce. Therefore, we use fresh, seasonal ingredients from our own vegetable garden and trusted local producers. This collaboration not only enables us to offer quality dishes but also strengthens our community's economy.

Our dedication to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of our restaurant:

Renewable energy: We have installed solar panels to reduce our energy consumption.

Water management: We operate our own treatment plant to reuse wastewater, thereby minimizing our water footprint.

Composting and our own vegetable garden: We compost organic waste to enrich our vegetable garden, cultivating some of the ingredients used in our kitchen.

Spice Garden: We maintain a garden dedicated to the cultivation of aromatic herbs and spices, reducing the need for transport and packaging.

Sustainable materials: We prioritize the use of recycled and recyclable materials in our daily operations.

Plastic Reduction: We have implemented measures to minimize the use of single-use plastics in all areas of the restaurant.

Carbon Footprint: We actively work to reduce our CO₂ footprint through efficient practices and the use of local resources.

Sustainable mobility: We offer free electric car chargers, thus promoting sustainable transportation among our customers.

Pet Friendly: We are a restaurant that welcomes your four-legged friends. We provide suitable spaces for your dogs to accompany you during your visit, ensuring a pleasant experience for all.

These initiatives not only help us reduce our ecological footprint, but also enrich the gastronomic experience we offer, connecting you directly with the natural environment that surrounds us.

Respectful towards people

Teamwork is a fundamental pillar of our restaurant. We foster an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual respect, where each member has a voice and a vote. This philosophy improves our efficiency and creativity in the kitchen, while creating a positive and enriching work environment.

This project is part of the Incentives Program for self-consumption and energy storage, promoting the use of renewable energy sources and the implementation of renewable thermal systems. It is developed within the framework of the European Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Fund – Next GenerationEU.

Can Boix de Vilamarí , through the company Audit Energia, has recently carried out a photovoltaic solar installation with the aim of using the electricity produced for instant self-consumption, thus reducing energy and economic costs, in addition to contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂). This installation, integrated into the roof of the building, consists of 22 395wp panels, with an 8kw inverter and a total peak power of 8.69kwp.
